STAGE REQUIREMENTS:

PROSCENIUM WIDTH: 30 feet (9,14 meters)
WINGS (stage right and left) : 10 feet (3,05 meters)
HEIGHT (stage to hanging pipe) : 18 feet (5,49 meters)
DEPTH (edge of apron to back wall) : 30 feet (9,14 meters)
DEPTH (1st hanging position to back wall) : 24 feet (7,31 meters)

IMPORTANT: due to the required distance between set and video projections, please note that these stage requirements are strict minimums. “Victoria” cannot be presented in a smaller venue.


CROSSOVER:
At least 3' (1m) wide US of last hanging position

MASKING : 4 pairs of black velour legs
2 black velour borders
Additional masking to be confirmed

FLOOR : Wooden floor (no cement),
EVEN, WITHOUT ANY RAKE OR TRIP EDGES
A white linoleum floor (provided by us) will be laid on top of it.
We require a dance floor (i.e.: Rosco) on uneven or damaged surfaces.


SET REQUIREMENTS:

Our set simulates a hospital room. It is composed of a hexagonal-shaped 1" steel structure with 14' long (1,22m) tracked hospital curtains underneath it.

The structure is 30' (9,14m) wide by 22' (6,71m) deep and requires 12 rigging points on three separate linesets.

The total weight of the set is less than 350 lbs. (160 kg) and no more than 100 lbs. (45 kg) on any point once completely installed.

For fixed-grid houses, we provide a half-ton chain hoist to facilitate the central-hub rig.
We carry our own supply of approved aircraft cable and rigging equipment.

We also put down a white linoleum floor composed of 6 strips (5', 9" x 30') (1,75m x 9m) each.
The linoleum is fixed with white gaffer tape (camera tape) at both off-stage ends and no tape is used along the seams. We ask to be provided with 1 roll.


VIDEO REQUIREMENTS:

We are completely self-sufficient in this department. We carry our own video projector, video player and all necessary cables. However, we ask that you provide us with the co-ordinates of your local video equipment supplier in case of equipment malfunction.


COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS:

We require 4 Clearcom stations: sound board, lighting board, stage left and right.


SOUND REQUIREMENTS:

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT THE SOUND OPERATOR BE IN THE HOUSE AND NOT IN A CONTROL ROOM. WE ASK THAT THE LIGHTING BOARD ALSO BE SET-UP NEXT TO IT.

LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS:

A light plot will be sent at least 1 week prior to the performance date to facilitate any pre-hang possibilities. Rigging points for set and masking information will also be included.
We require a scale ground plan of the theatre as well as a section plan.

4 small (PAR 20) light fixtures with floor stands (provided by us) to be installed DS of the apron.
We require four female U-ground to “House connectors” (TL-3, stage pin, etc…).


MISCELLANEOUS:

Some seats may have an obstructed view in certain scenes. We ask to be supplied with a seating plan of the house with exact stage location in order to warn in advance the box office.

We require lockable dressing rooms with mirrors, costume racks, toilets and showers. We ask that a key be given to our assigned stage manager.

We also need access to an iron and ironing board prior to the performances and wardrobe person and/or laundry facilities after every show as well as during the strike.

We ask for water, coffee, fruits, nuts, cheese and juice in the green room as of the first day of set-up. We also ask for two small bottles of water for each performance.

We require a set of stairs into the audience located approximately 10 feet (3m) stage left of centre.

Please note that juice (in cups with lids) and candy are served to the audience during the performance.

Please note that a rope (supplied by us) is hung from the grid to help “Victoria” perform a balance act with her wheelchair.

We also require a parking area for our truck and/or minivan.

It is extremely important that our technicians operate the performances, as cues are not called out during the show. One of our technicians will be assigned as stage manager for any duties required before curtain.


CREW REQUIREMENTS AND SCHEDULE:

We require a minimum of 2-3 calls of four-hours to set-up and 1 four-hour call for a cue-to-cue.
Here is a typical schedule for an 8 p.m. performance that can be modified to suit house or union rules. Please note that Crew specifications do NOT take into account touring staff.
